Cashout Problems on Poker Stars
Is anyone else waiting on a cash out from Poker Stars? I keep forgetting about my cashout and I was reading 2+2 today and noticed other people were complaining about waiting on their money…
I cashed out $100 on 4/16.
On 4/24 I received this email from Poker Stars:

Hello,
We regret to inform you that due to technical difficulties on our eCheck
processor’s end, some of the cashouts we sent for processing from April
14th to April 22nd have been delayed. Unfortunately, your cashout(s) may
be included.
If you have not received your cashout yet, the estimated time for you to
receive these funds would be another 5-10 business days from today.
Because these transactions have already sent for processing, it is
impossible for us to cancel them at this time .
We appreciate that you have been waiting a long time to get these funds
but we would like to reassure you that your funds are safe and will reach
your bank account soon.
Thank you again for your continued patience and understanding.

Doesn’t exactly make you want to deposit money into your online account.. What’s the point when there’s no easy way to get it out. Sure it takes 30 seconds to start playing.. but when I want my cashout where is it? Another reason why I prefer live play.

I’ve heard paper checks are actually quicker than the e-check cash out option.. now I know for next time i guess.
If you read the thread on 2+2 there was a glitch with some of the cashouts from the US. It is not normal and it normally doesn’t take that long to cashout. Having said that, it still sucks and they should be on the ball sending you updates immediately and being more open about it. Don’t know what to think about it…
Got that paper check today (5/5). Yea, it does sound like the problem is on eCheck’s end (& it ain’t just w/Stars).
I just happened to have requested a cashout on 4/30. Will report back if/when the check arrives.
I’ve never had any problems at all with Stars thus far — the check always comes within just a couple of business days.
