Pokering

I have had another challenging week.  I ran the old bankroll back down to $85.  I did have a success on Sunday, playing 1 holdem SNG, Razz cash game and a Poker Sluts Limit Omaha 8, I took 2nd out of 25.  I was able to get the bankroll back up to $144.
I have started to pay more attention to my game again.  I have been playing nearly every night, I just have not been caring.  I fell back into the bad habit of calling and not raising.  It is amazing how much aggression pays off.   The key for me is to remember, remember what my opponent has done in the past, what types of hands they play.  Also, to remember to bet enough money to make people pay to chase.  Sit N Go’s at the end are a push fold proposition, the cards do not matter.
I am going to renew my commitment to poker, to playing sound winning poker and try to make some money at it.  I have treaded water long enough.  I need to get more active on the forums, I need to commit to watching more PXF videos.  The challenge for these videos is they are playing at a buy in level much higher then my bankroll will allow.  I think the Sit N Go’s are easier to follow the strategies, in the MTT’s at the $5 level people will call and simply try to get lucky.  In the SNG’s the bad players tend to fold at the end to a push and you can build your stack back quickly by taking the blinds.
Poker Commitments:
- Post on more then one forum 4 to 5 times a week.
- Watch 3 to 5 hours of videos per week
- Play more games that I have an edge in.
- Be more selective of the cash games I play, pay attention to the players.
