In the groove…

I’ve been settling in nicely playing poker. My bankroll keeps growing slowly, but surely online. I play about 200-300 hands every day, which isn’t much, but, hey with a toddler and work, it’s all I can mange right now. I feel I’m getting the right reads of people and suddenly can shake off the bad beats easily. I mean, I scream at the monitor, but the next hand I’m in the groove again. I just gotta be careful to not get too complacent. So not much going on regarding “teh poker”. I still gotta make it to Commerce again, but life is too busy right now… Undecided Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

One thing I’m absolutely addicted to right now is… drumroll… I know, I’m pathetic -> American Idol. I’ve been seriously thinking of putting in some money into WSEX and donking it around shorting and buying candidates. It’s a really good season and the contestants definitely can sing. So this year it’s all about the details, nice. So when I’m not donking it around the tables, I’m at AI forums, reading opinions and conspiracy theories and stuff… I’m not too proud of this, but it is addicting.

I’ll just give a quick shoutout to DeucesCracked . This is a poker training/video/forum site which I have been a member now for a few months. If you play a lot of Limit Hold’em, this site is a must, they are just starting their second series and I can just say the first installment was amazing and has already upped my winrate by a lot. Special thanks to danzasmack on his series!

Another thing I’m a bit startled by is the sudden fallout at Prima. You can go to the Internet Gambling Forum on 2+2 to get the details. Basically they are letting go of 27 micro-gaming affiliates. High speculation of why this has happened, but a rumor was thrown out there, that it might have been, because of rakeback issues. Now, I am not a high volume player at Battlefield Poker, but I am one of those people that played there just because of their sweet, very high rakeback deal (no details, sorry). Too bad another possibility of easy money is gone. I wonder if that will affect the games at Doyle’s Room and Eurolinx. Might the games become softer now? Might there be an overlay in guaranteed tourneys? And are there going to be problems with the cashouts of the sites that have been shut out of Prima? Oh well…

So, as you see… a lot of nothing going on in my life. But like they say, no news is good news. Read ya later!
