I Believe:

I believe that since I learned how to play poker most TV poker sucks.
I believe Playing Micro-Stakes poker is a challenge, people think that the way poker on television is played is how to play.
I believe anytime you condense 18 hours of play into 2 hours of television you are not going to get a fair representation of how the game is played.
I believe that the majority time people write about poker on forums is when they are losing.
I believe most people are not as good as a poker player as they think they are.
I believe Poker like golf takes a lot of practice and patients with out both you will never reach your potential.
I believe playing tight or loose neither is right and neither is wrong, it’s a matter of how much gamble is in you.
I believe loose players just have more gamble, and either all the chips or none of the chips.
I believe with the exception of a few select players being a pro poker tournament player would suck.  Travel, expense, pressure, hangers on.
I believe that most pro players are not as rich as people think they are, and most players along the tournament trail are desperate people that will do anything to get an edge.
I believe the only way to make money, long term, in poker is to play cash games with in your bankroll and not be afraid to move down during a bad stretch of cards (also see note 7 up).
I believe tournaments are a good way to supplement and occasionally make a big score, but the variance can be frustrating.
I believe there is not a lot of overt cheating in online poker but a lot of soft playing against friends.
I believe that random card generators suck, but are still the best way to have a fair game online that has been invented so far.
I believe the online players will prove to be better then the live players.  Learning physical tells is easier then understanding the proper play online.
I believe playing harder games like Omaha, Stud 8, Razz will make you more money long term because you are playing against players that are not good and loose play gets punished.
I believe poker is the only form of competition that neutralizes the younger players physical advantages.
I believe most of the recreational poker players are good people that just want to play well.

Sorry, but Omaha and Razz are very simple games. Just the fact that not that much has been written about them doesn’t mean they are hard.
