Just a quick “hello”
Hello fellow bloggers and readers!
Just a small post to say hello and to wish everyone merry Christmas and happy New Year. May your 2008 be filled with lots of poker and life success. I’m very happy to be posting on this page. Right now, I can’t write that much, as I am in Germany visiting relatives, but I already have a post in the works about the amazing growth of poker in Germany since the last time I was here.
Anyway, so glad to be posting here. All the best on the new podcast.

Greetings and Salutations
That’s right — I’ve lifted Mike Johnson’s old Rounders intro (by way of Heathers, yes?). Big thanks, fellas, for the invite. And best of luck with the “new” show.
Now, then . . . where to begin . . . ?
In the Preface to his 1977 collection of essays Total Poker, the late David Spanier begins by saying that “the ideal poker book . . . should contain just a few deliberate mistakes.” That way, when those who have read the book later play with the author, “they will be following his misleading advice and in the process he can take advantage of their bad play.”
Hi!
Hi Everyone! First, I want to thank Adam Schwartz for choosing me as one of the bloggers for this site. I’m really excited to share my poker experiences with you guys. I’m a long time Rounders podcast listener, currently listening through Itunes from sunny Florida.
I’m actually on my way out the door.. not to pick up last minute Christmas gifts.. but to play a $60 multi-table NLHE tournament at the dog track in St Pete, Derby Lane. There are usually 100 people in the tournament. In Florida, the dog and pony tracks have card rooms and offer a good amount of games. Derby actually has about 50 tables too.
Happy Holidays
Hi all,
First, its an honor to be chosen to share my Poker blog across this great ROUNDERS podcast nation. Congrats to the boys at Bigpoker for getting Rounders onto 2+2…not sure if its called Rounders anymore - but its an awesome accomplishment for the boys, stepping into Jim Carey/Mike Meyers/Mike Wier realm as Canadians who made the big time. This is like Wier winning the Masters……so GREAT JOB EH!
Here relaxing at home with the BABE, and my WIFE who shut er down at 8 p.m. night in night out. I lead the good life during the day - and my poker life at night. This next year is a big one for me.
Welcome to Stewman’s world
Hello all,
I just wanted to drop a quick note to the other blogger’s and readers that I am excited to be part of this new site and to say thanks to Adam Schwartz for selecting me to participate in all of this. I am the epitome of a poker degenerate. I play both online and live…preferring live play but end up playing more online (Poker Stars and FTP (No more Absolute)) as it is more convenient. Heading home to the bay area this weekend for x-mas so I’m sure I’ll hit up Bay 101 and play some cash games or maybe a tourney. Maybe I’ll run into fellow blogger Bellatrix…
Well I promise a recap of my poker over the holidays next week in my next post. Till then I wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas.
